One of the delights of our location here in central Vermont is -- well -- our location.
Photographs don't do it justice, although we try nonetheless. Every visitor we've had has commented on the beauty of the property and the area in which it lies; the peacefulness of the surroundings, interrupted only by the sound of birds by day and the "peepers" by night; the constant breeze that keeps the air fresh (and the bugs away)... and, usually, the fact that they've never slept better in their lives than they have in our bedrooms.
Our location, atop Beacon Hill in Chelsea, offers our visitors a location central to many of Vermont's attractions, but most of them prefer to remain on the property and enjoy its effects.
Although we've managed rental properties and referred inquiries to area B&Bs for more than a decade, 2005 marked our decision to open our doors and our home to visitors. We'll be spending the year making even more improvements to the house and the property: although this is somewhat of a necessity in Vermont, where winter makes its own changes every year, we've known since we arrived here what we wanted Windswept Acres to look like and to feel like, and welcome the opportunity to make it so.
We are still awaiting interior photos, and when we've added them will link to them from the top of this page. Please use those links to take a quick tour of our home; for information about pricing or availability you may use the email form found on the "Contact" page for your inquiry. Please be sure to include as much information as you can.
