Photo Restoration, Retouching, and Digital Imaging

One of the things that happens to photographs over time is that they get messed up. One of the things that Photoshop does is give us tools to fix 'em. Every once in a while some of them come through the door, and that's just what we do.

Working within Photoshop has always been one of Windswept Production's strengths -- for several years Doc worked as a seminar instructor for a national educational firm based in Kansas City, traveling from city to city and introducing employees of service bureaus, print shops, and publishing companies to this powerful, industry-standard editing tool.

As the power of personal computers has grown exponentially and the programs written for them have become increasingly intuitive and user-friendly, there is far less call for professional "red-eye" removers -- but for the intensive work of rescuing old or damaged photos of historical or sentimental value, Photoshop is still the best tool.

The cost of such work is, understandably, dependent on the nature of each specific project. Finished product can be delivered in digital form or printed to traditional film.
